Where Safari Memories are Made Together
Nyamatusi Mahogany is a wildly luxurious safari experience for families. Designed for serenity and intimacy in the bush, you’ll find just two tented suites and two family suites, all nested under ancient mahogany trees on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. Set in a private concession in Mana Pools National Park, this spectacular area is an explorers’ paradise known as one of the last pioneer parks in the Great Rift Valley. Here, you can experience stretching, untamed wilderness as you paddle down the Zambezi River or watch in anticipation as a wildlife extravaganza unfolds on thrilling daily game drives.
Nyamatusi Mahagony is solar-powered and consciously built from natural materials. Each tent features an ensuite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, mini bar, air conditioning and in-room charging facilities. Outside, a private deck with a scenic plunge pool creates the ultimate family fun in the wild.
At the heart of camp are spaces to enjoy together, taking in unobstructed views of the river, floodplain, and distant escarpment. Unwind in the raised lounge, relish afternoons by the pool, savor chef-prepared meals in the dining room, watch the wild from elevated viewing decks and end starlit nights sharing safari stories around the fire.
With prolific wildlife, you can tap into guided activities at your leisure, from thrilling night drives, walking safaris through the bush, adventurous canoeing safaris and birdwatching; you have the freedom to create your own safari schedule.
Promoting a philosophy that embraces families in the wild, children are welcomed into camp with our special Ngwana Club starter kit, and a wide range of activities are on offer, incorporating tailor-made fun for little explorers. While children of all ages are welcome at Nyamatusi Mahogany, walking safaris and canoeing are only possible for children over the age of sixteen years.
